The Victory Lakewood Lodge

The Victory Lakewood lodge is a two-bedroom holiday lodge from Victory Leisure Homes, and its second bathroom and residential feel make it popular with buyers. This guide explains what the Lakewood offers, who it suits and what to check when you view one. We have a Victory Lakewood lodge for sale now at Epworth Fields, a small, gated, owners-only park in North Lincolnshire, sited, connected, decked and furnished.

Victory Lakewood lodge: what you get

Our Victory Lakewood has:

  • two bedrooms
  • two bathrooms, including an en-suite bath
  • double glazing
  • a washer/dryer
  • a virtual tour, so you can look round before you visit

As with every lodge at Epworth Fields, the price includes siting, connection, decking and furnishings. The annual site fee is £3,000 plus VAT, frozen for 5 years.

Who the Lakewood suits

  • Couples who want space to spread out and a guest room
  • Couples and friends, where a second bathroom makes mornings much easier
  • Buyers moving up from a static caravan who want a more residential feel

If you need three bedrooms, see our 3 bedroom lodges for sale.

Victory lodges: what to check on any Lakewood

Whether you view ours or one elsewhere, check:

  1. The year and condition. Ask the model year and look at the exterior, decking and windows.
  2. What’s included in the price. Is it sited, connected, decked and furnished, or are those extras?
  3. The pitch. Look at the outlook, privacy and parking.
  4. The site fee, and how it changes. Ours is frozen for 5 years.
  5. The park. Is it 12 months? Are lodges let out? Ours is a 12-month, owners-only park.

Lakewood lodge vs other two-bedroom lodges

Most two-bedroom lodges share a similar footprint: an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area at one end, and two bedrooms at the other. What sets the Lakewood apart for many buyers is the second bathroom. It means guests aren’t sharing with you, and busy mornings are easier. If a second bathroom isn’t important to you, a two-bedroom lodge with one bathroom can cost less. We have new two-bedroom Love Holiday Homes lodges too, so you can compare both on the same visit. See the lodges for sale and our guide to new lodges for sale.

When you compare, walk through each lodge as you’d actually use it. Where do the coats and boots go after a muddy dog walk? Is there room at the table for everyone? Can you see out from the sofa? Small things like these matter more over years of weekends than a long feature list.

Victory Lakewood lodge prices

Prices for a Lakewood vary with year, condition, pitch and what’s included. Our Victory Lakewood’s price is on its listing, and it includes siting, connection, decking and furnishings, so there’s nothing to add before your first stay. For the full picture of ownership costs, see the cost of buying a holiday lodge.

Viewing a Victory Lakewood: what to look at

When you view a Lakewood, sit in the lounge and look out. The outlook from the windows and the deck will shape every stay. Check the en-suite and the main bathroom, open the kitchen cupboards, and picture the deck on a summer evening. Ask about the pitch, the parking and how far the lodge is from the lake and the woodland walks.

Victory or Love Holiday Homes?

At Epworth Fields, you can see our Victory Lakewood and our new Love Holiday Homes lodges on the same visit. That makes it easy to compare two makers side by side, and to work out which layout feels right for the way you’ll use it.

Whichever you choose, the park side stays the same:

  • The site fee is £3,000 plus VAT a year, frozen for 5 years.
  • The park is open 12 months a year.
  • There’s no letting or subletting.
  • The fishing lake is for owners only.
  • Dogs are welcome.

Hot tubs are allowed on either. They aren’t standard, but we can add one for you, or you can add your own. Lodges at Epworth Fields start from £49,995, and each listing shows its own price.

Do I pay council tax on the Lakewood?

No. You don’t pay council tax on a holiday lodge.

Can I buy the Lakewood with a mortgage?

No. You can’t buy a holiday lodge with a mortgage.

Can I part-exchange a lodge or chalet?

Yes. We accept lodges, motorhomes, static caravans, touring caravans and chalets in part-exchange.
