If you live in or around Scunthorpe and want a holiday home you can reach easily, you don’t need to head for the coast. Epworth Fields is a small, family-run, owners-only lodge park on Newlands Lane, just outside Epworth on the Isle of Axholme. It’s in North Lincolnshire, the same council area as Scunthorpe, on the other side of the River Trent.
From Scunthorpe town centre, the park is about 14 miles, around 25 minutes by car.
Why buyers from Scunthorpe look at Epworth Fields
- Close to home. A lodge nearby means you can use it for short breaks, not just the odd long holiday.
- Open all year. The park is open 12 months a year.
- Quiet. Lodges are for owners’ own use and aren’t let out. There’s no camping or touring on the park.
- Countryside. The park is set in 12.5 acres, with woodland walks and a picnic area.
- Fishing for owners. There’s a fishing lake kept for owners only.
- Dogs welcome. Bring the dog, and there are walks from the door.
What a lodge costs
Lodges start from £49,995. The price includes siting, connection, decking and furnishings. The annual site fee is £3,000 plus VAT, frozen for 5 years for every buyer, new or pre-owned. Owners don’t pay council tax.
You can’t buy a holiday lodge with a mortgage, but we accept part-exchange on lodges, motorhomes, static caravans, touring caravans and chalets. If you already own a static caravan on a park near Scunthorpe, see our part-exchange page.
Our lodges
We sell new lodges by Love Holiday Homes, and we also have a Victory Lakewood (built by Victory). Hot tubs are allowed, but they aren’t fitted as standard. See what’s available on our lodges for sale page.
