Lodges for Sale on the Isle of Axholme

The Isle of Axholme is a quiet corner of North Lincolnshire, bordered by South Yorkshire and the East Riding. It’s flat, green and peaceful, with market towns like Epworth, Crowle and Haxey and miles of open fields between them. It’s becoming a popular place to look for a holiday home, and if you’re looking at Isle of Axholme lodges for sale, this page explains what Epworth Fields offers.

Isle of Axholme lodges for sale: choosing a park on the Isle

The Isle has holiday parks of different shapes and sizes. Some are large resorts with lots of activities on site. Others, however, are small and quiet. The right choice depends on how you want to spend your time. So before you decide, it’s worth visiting more than one and asking each park the same questions: what’s included in the price, what the fees are and how they might change, and how the park is run.

If you’re exploring holiday homes around Crowle and Ealand, you may already know Seven Lakes Country Park, the large lakeside park there run by Unity Holidays. Epworth Fields isn’t connected with Seven Lakes. Instead, we’re a much smaller, family-run park around 15 minutes’ drive south, near Epworth, and we’re happy to show you round so you can see the difference in setting for yourself.

Epworth Fields: small, quiet and owners-only

Epworth Fields is a small, gated, family-run lodge park on Newlands Lane, just outside Epworth. It’s set in 12½ acres of secluded grounds, with open countryside all around.

  • Owners only. Lodges are for owners’ own holiday use and aren’t let out, so the park stays calm and you get to know your neighbours.
  • A private fishing lake. It’s fully stocked with carp, bream and roach and is for owners only. There’s no fishing shop, so bring your own tackle.
  • Dogs welcome, with walks from your door.
  • Woodland, a picnic area and a children’s play area.
  • A 12-month season, with 365 days of leisure use.

An established park on the Isle

When you buy a holiday lodge, you’re choosing the park as much as the lodge. Epworth Fields has been going for many years on Newlands Lane, just outside Epworth, and our lodge plans were approved on appeal.

A few things haven’t changed in all that time, and we don’t plan to change them:

  • Owners only. There’s no letting or subletting, so the people around you are fellow owners, not a new group every weekend.
  • Lodges only. There’s no camping or touring on the park.
  • Open all year. The park is open 12 months a year.
  • The lake is for owners. The fishing lake is owners only.
  • Dogs are welcome.

Today we sell lodges by Love Holiday Homes, plus a Victory lodge, from £49,995. If you already own a lodge, motorhome, static caravan, touring caravan or chalet, we can look at it in part-exchange.
