A new lodge on a quiet, owners-only park

A brand new lodge deserves a peaceful setting. Epworth Fields is a gated, 12.5-acre park just outside Epworth on the Isle of Axholme, with woodland walks, a picnic area and an owners-only fishing lake. Lodges are for owners’ own use and can’t be let, so there are no changeover days. Dogs are welcome, and we have a 12-month season. We’re close to the M18 and A1, so we’re within easy reach of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Wherever you buy, ask these before you commit to a new lodge:

1. What warranty comes with it, and who provides it?
2. What’s included in the price, and what’s extra?
3. Which pitch will it go on, and what’s the outlook?
4. When will it be ready to use?
5. What is the site fee, and how will it change over the next few years?
6. Can owners let their lodges? This affects how quiet the park will be.

Trading up to a new lodge

We take motorhomes, static caravans and touring caravans in part-exchange, so what you own now can go towards a new lodge. See part exchange your static caravan.

Paying for a new lodge

Before you fall for a new lodge, it helps to know how the buying side works.

No mortgages. You can’t buy a holiday lodge with a mortgage, so it’s worth thinking about how you’ll fund your purchase before you view.

Part-exchange. We accept lodges, motorhomes, static caravans, touring caravans and chalets in part-exchange. If you’re moving up from something you already own, tell us when you book your viewing.

A fee you can plan around. The site fee is £3,000 plus VAT a year, frozen for 5 years.

No council tax. You don’t pay council tax on a holiday lodge.

Extras are your choice. Hot tubs aren’t standard. We can add one to your new lodge for you, or you can add your own.
